INGREDIENTS:

1 ripe banana
1 cup roasted or baked sweet potato (either chunks or puree is fine) ( you can use purple or normal sweet potatoes)
1 tablespoon maple syrup(optional)
1 cup rice milk (rice milk works best) (1 cup is for a thick smoothie if you don't like thick smoothies add more milk until you get to your desired consistency)
1/2 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract(optional
Dash of cinnamon(optional)
Handful of ice cubes

Bake the sweet potatoes at 400f (204c) for 45 minutes
Cut the potatoes into chunks or turn the potatoes into a puree.
Then cool down the potatoes to a room temperature.

After the potatoes have cooled down combine all ingredients in the basin of a blender. Blend on high until very smooth and creamy. Pour and enjoy!

Exclamation Note: you will not need any sweetener if you have good sweet potatoes. The potatoes should not have a barely noticeable sweet taste. Good sweet potatoes will taste sweet. I even ate the potatoes as a dessert by themselves. If you want a nice purple color use purple sweet potatoes.
