Newbie

We're told we'll be in front of judges / courts and have to defend our faith. I realize we need 2 to 3 witnesses for the defense of any doctrine. This means it's important to memorize the verses on topics we need to defend.

Because time is short: Has anyone ever compiled a list of "core verses" that would be required for anyone who wants to stand in the days of persecution? The basics for supporting our doctrines and beliefs, even to those in our work place, or general witnessing.

Example of topics requiring verses to support or disprove:
The Sabbath
The Rapture (proof of error)
Once saved, always saved (proof of error)
These are just 3 examples but the are many others. I've been slowly building a list but if someone else has ideas please reply.

I know we can expect the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us the words, but it seems logical that if we don't have the necessary "verses in our hearts", the Holy Spirit won't "bring them to remembrance". I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say.
