This question came up in my mind some time ago.

So...

In Warsaw, Poland Sabbath started today at 7:28pm and it will end at 7:30pm "the next day". So it's 24h.
-6 hours from Warsaw time is New York, USA time. Sabbath there will start at 7:32pm (1:32am Warsaw time) and it will end at 7:33pm "the next day". So it's also 24h.
But with 6 hour difference the Sabbath day in heaven would actually be going for 30 hours since it has started 6 hours earlier in Warsaw.

So when i will end Sabbath in Warsaw whole heaven will not end it at that time, because other parts of the world will be still keeping Sabbath. And by logic if other people keep Sabbath, heaven keeps it with them. So considering, for example, Baker Island - a place which is 14 hours behind Warsaw, and where Sabbath will come up as the latest in terms of timezone (from what i understand seeing this map) - does it mean that Sabbath in heaven would be up for 24h+14h=38h?

I feel that i'm missing something... My brain hurts, help. Uh Oh

Timezones only apply on this planet, I don't think it's feasible to extend it out to space. I'm not sure how Sabbath works in heaven (space-wise) but we'll find out if we remain obedient.

Hey bro,

May I suggest stop with all the computations and go with that which is written ... The Sabbath begins at Friday Sunset to Saturday Sunset, no matter where you are on our little planet ... as far as your question on how long does the Sabbath last in the realm of heaven there is nothing written in the Word concerning this and should not ponder or speculate on matters God has not shared with us. There are matters we need to concern ourselves with that God has revealed to us. Such matters as this will no doubt be shared with all of us If and When we make it home. Smile

God Bless bro

Thank you for replies. You're right, i have to stop overthinking and go only with that which is written. I'm sorry for asking this question. It was unnecessary.

No need to apologize bro,we all have the tendency to search out things God has not revealed, its one of satan's many weapons to keep us from learning and teaching present truth.

Yeah just add it to the list of things to ask God when we get there. I'm sure our question lists are pretty long. Smile
